two
PERFECTscars on her back,where
BEAUTIFULwings once sprouted.[what happened to her wings?]
blood DROPLETS in her wake,
feathers MIXING in the mud.
[what happened to her wings?]
torn,
ANDscattered in the wind, the same wind that blows at her back
MOCKINGLY.[e c h o i n g n e v e r m o r e]
a STORM is approaching,
she isn't flying AWAY.
[what happened to her wings?]
there is no MORE flight,
n e v e r m o r e, n e v e r m o r e.
[what happened to her wings?]
they stole them, when she wasn't looking,
taped them to their backs and flew away.
[e c h o i n g n e v e r m o r e]
lightning SLASHES across the sky,
ENDLESS pelting rain.
[what happened to her wings?]
if the thunder doesn't DROWN out her screams,
then MAYBE her cries will reach the ears in heaven.

Just A Fallen Angel
I've Got an Angel
She is an Angel
I loved the formatting of this poem.
I have to say, as I read on, I started to hear it as a song and it was strikingly beautiful.
I love your word flow, I love your style - I'm glad I read this. ^^
